THREE REASONS YOU NEED A HAND MASSAGE

THREE REASONS YOU NEED A HAND MASSAGE

A little indulgence has never been more necessary. A DIY massage can supercharge skin care. Do it at your desk or while getting into the sleep-zone before bed – one luxurious, multi-tasking hand cream and a few minutes is all it takes. RELAX YOUR SENSESMindful moments of self-care can give your busy mind a break, refocus attention, and calm jumpy nerves. Tap into the soothing power of scent with the new Fragrant Rose Hand Cream Limited Edition, fragranced with the pure, concentrated extract of Rosa gallica, the Alchemist’s Rose. This sweet and natural Rose scent uplifts the mind and senses. Break it out at the desk when you need a dose of calm or spend a few quiet moments massaging the day away before bed. SOFTEN AND RESTORE SKINMassaging in a hand moisturizer cream with soothing, fluid strokes allows rich hydrating and ingredients to sink into the skin and keeps hands looking youthful. RELEASE TENSIONEven small, repetitive actions like typing at a keyboard can strain muscles in hands. Focusing your massage method on key zones not only feels fantastic in the moment, it can stretch out cramps, release tension and make it easier to push through the next few hours. CHOOSE YOUR TECHNIQUE. YOU DO HAVE TIME… THE THREE-STEP BLISS EXPRESS Squeeze a dose of lush NEW Fragrant Rose Hand Cream Limited Edition into your palm and warm it between your hands. 1. Use your thumb to stroke deeply upwards between each tendon on the back of one hand, from the knuckles to the wrist.2. Now palm up, stroke your thumb firmly up the palm of one hand from the base of your fingers to the wrist then out to the side in a fanning motion. Repeat several times. Then make deep circular thumb pressure all over the palm.3. Using your thumb and index fingers gently massage along each finger. Work right up to the fingertips and massage around the nail and nail bed. - Repeat all movements on opposite hand. THE LUXURIOUS HAND & NAIL TREATMENT Try this once a week to improve the tone, clarity and softness of hands. Cleanse hands with Softening Shower Gel Rose to soften and purify skin. Polish and smooth skin with Exfoliating Hand Treatment, a gentle, two-in-one scrub and mask that sloughs rough, dull surface skin, preparing it for moisture. Treat your cuticles and condition nails with two drops of Nail and Cuticle Treatment Oil, massaged into nails and the nail bed. Leave to absorb throughout the rest of the massage. Massage hands with a generous amount of NEW Fragrant Rose Hand Cream Limited Edition. Blend the cream up and down the outer and inner arm. Repeat four times, being sure to moisturise elbows. Sweep your thumb from the centre of the back of one hand out toward the outside of the hands in a fanning motion. The skin should be gently stretched. Repeat four times. Rotate each finger then gently ‘pull’ toward your fingertip, moving down the sides of the finger. Trace light feathering movements of your fingertips down forearm, ending at the fingertips. Repeat all steps on the other arm. Cup soft, nourished hands over your face and breathe deeply to let the intense Rose scent revive your senses.

HOW TO ACHIEVE ‘NO-MAKEUP’ MAKEUP LOOK

HOW TO ACHIEVE ‘NO-MAKEUP’ MAKEUP LOOK

As the old saying goes, less is more. While we love playing around with the latest makeup trends, we’re all about an effortless everyday look - a natural makeup look that highlights your best features and gives skin a healthy glow. This is commonly known as the ‘no-makeup’ makeup look, and works best when you’ve got a great skincare routine to begin with. Think dewy, hydrated, expensive looking skin, complemented with cream blushes, no powders, natural fluffy brows, curled lashes with a light flash of mascara, and a bee stung lip.To help you master the no-makeup look and build an easy, foolproof beauty routine, we’ve teamed up with Sydney Makeup Artist’s Nicola Johnson - an expert in ‘barely there’ makeup - to come up with our best tips on achieving ‘no-makeup’ makeup.STEP 1: CLEANSE YOUR SKIN FOR A SMOOTH BASEFor that effortless ‘I woke up like this’, no-makeup look, you need a smooth, healthy base to work with - so start with skincare products that will cleanse, hydrate and brighten.“Clean hydrated skin is the first step to creating the ‘no-makeup’ makeup look,” says Nicola. “I love Cleansing Oils for this purpose. Take the opportunity to really massage the skin with the oil - this will stimulate the circulation and deliver oxygen rich blood to the skin cells leaving the skin looking plump & alive”.After cleansing, try an essence such as the Jurlique Purely White Skin Brightening Essence – packed with powerful botanicals, this lotion is great for reducing the appearance of skin discolouration.Nicola’s go-to Cleaning Oil: Nourishing Cleansing Oil STEP 2: PRIME YOUR SKIN FOR A FLAWLESS LOOKNext, smooth, soften and tone your skin to create the perfect canvas for your ‘no-makeup’ makeup. “Facial mists are wonderful on the skin,” says Nicola. “They’re perfect for prepping & hydrating ready for makeup, they deliver and extra layer of hydration & can also be used after the makeup to refresh. For extra radiance and a reduction in appearance of fine lines, a serum like the Herbal Recovery Signature Serum, followed by a lightweight moisturiser like the Moisture Replenishing Day Cream, will help you achieve a flawless looking finish.Next, use a primer to smooth your skin’s surface and ensure your makeup lasts longer. Choose a dewy primer for that fresh, natural look and wait a few minutes for your moisturiser to absorb before applying (for the best results, warm the primer between your fingertips first).Nicola’s go-to facial mist: Jurlique Lavender Hydrating Mist STEP 3: CHOOSE LIGHTWEIGHT MAKEUP COVERAGE FOR DEWY SKINNow your skin is ready for makeup, a super light hand is needed for this ‘off duty model’ look. Opt for tinted moisturisers, BB and CC creams over heavy foundations – you want your natural skin to show through. You can always mix a drop of your everyday foundation with your day cream to create your own tinted moisturiser.Freckles, beauty spots, and imperfections are to be celebrated. Apply with your fingertips and then soften any edges with a damp beauty blender or sponge. This look is all about dewy, hydrated skin, or ‘expensive skin’ as Nicola calls it.“I love to mix a drop of my favourite Jurlique facial oil with the moisturiser to give the skin some extra glow,” she says. “Spend a minute massaging this into your skin and neck for the deepest level of hydration - foundation always sits better if the skin has had some extra love first.”Nicola’s go-to facial oils: Jurlique Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Face Oil & Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream STEP 4: GROOM YOUR BROWSFrom the early 2000s pencil-thin brow to Cara Delevingne’s era-defining oversized look, we’ve seen our fair share of eyebrow trends over the decades. For a natural, timeless look, keep your brows groomed, see a professional a few times a year, and avoid overplucking.“Brush up your brows - the fluffier the better.” says Nicola. “I love to set with brow gels. If you feel like your brows need some extra definition or are super fair then try a tinted brow gel – this is much softer approach than a brow pencil, and much quicker too!”When it comes to your eyes, skip the eyeliner and keep it simple. Curl lashes and apply a whisper of mascara. For blondes, Nicola recommends opting for a dark brown over black mascara for a more natural feel. Apply a small amount of highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them up. STEP 5: WARM UP YOUR COMPLEXIONAs an extra boost, a small amount of blush, eyeshadow or bronzer will do wonders. “Cream blush and cream eye shadows are essential as they melt into the skin, leaving no traceable edges,” says Nicola. “Once again, fingertips make excellent tools as the heat for your hands helps soften the product over the skin.”For ‘just bitten’ lips, Nicola recommends using a tinted lip balm or your favourite lipstick by lightly pressing the colour on with your finger for a sheer wash of colour - the Jurlique Lip Care Balm is great for healthy-looking lips. For the finishing touches, set your makeup with a hydrating mist. Go for cult classic the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist to give your skin the ultimate glow, and pop a bottle in your bag to freshen up throughout the day. NATURAL PRODUCTS FOR NATURAL BEAUTYIn short, ‘no-makeup’ makeup is all about enhancing what you already have, using a carefully-selected range of products that will lead to a flawless looking complexion (after all, we all need a little help now and then). Give your skin a glowing head-start by adding hydrating products to your routine. Shop our range of essences, serums and moisturisers for the best natural skincare products to achieve flawless looking skin.

YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO THE JURLIQUE SKIN CARE RITUAL

YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO THE JURLIQUE SKIN CARE RITUAL

At Jurlique, we pride ourselves on our six-step skin care ritual. While it may seem excessive – especially compared to the traditional three-step cleanse, tone and moisturise routines – each step is beneficial for the skin. And for us, it’s not just a ‘routine’, we call it a ritual for a reason. It’s our form of self-care, a time to slow down, focus on ourselves and our wellbeing and look after our entire selves: mind, body and soul. Discover our guide to the Jurlique skin care ritual below.CLEANSELike every good skin care routine, cleansing is the first step of the Jurlique ritual. Cleanse twice daily and embrace the double-cleanse in the evenings for a deeper clean (the first cleanse removes dirt, debris and makeup, while the second cleanse unclogs the pores). Choose a natural-based face cleanser like our Nourishing Cleansing Oil or discover all our cleansers here. MISTWe do things differently at Jurlique. We don’t have a traditional ‘toner’ but we have Mists instead (our Rosewater Balancing Mist is kind of a big deal). Packed with natural botanical extracts, our Mists provide instant hydration, helping skin to feel soothed and balanced. After cleansing, close your eyes and spritz your mist around your face. Gently press into your skin to help the ingredients absorb. ACTIVATING WATER ESSENCEActivating Water Essence hydrates and preps the skin to help it absorb the rest of your skin care products. It also contains emollients and high-performing botanical extracts to attract and hold water for a smoother, softer and healthier-looking complexion. To apply, pour a couple of drops into your palms and press gently onto the face, neck and décolletage. Want to know more? Discover 5 reasons to use Activating Water Essence. SERUMFace serums are lightweight (but potent) formulas designed to provide your skin with extra hydration as well as target specific skin care concerns (read our guide to choosing a serum that addresses what you need best). With serums, a little goes a long way - gently press 1-2 pumps of the formula over your face, neck and décolletage and leave to sink in before you move on to the next step. EYE CAREThe skin around the eyes is delicate and prone to dryness. It’s also one of the first areas to show signs of ageing, so a nourishing eye cream or gel is important (for those first signs of ageing, Herbal Recovery Signature Eye Cream is our best eye cream for wrinkles and dark circles). Eye creams are formulated for different skin care concerns, so choose one that suits your needs most and gently press and smooth the cream around your eye contour area using your ring fingers. MOISTURISERRich and creamy, moisturisers seal in hydration, improve the skin’s protective barrier, and lock in the benefits of the products you’ve used before it. Like other skin care products, moisturisers target different skin care concerns and can be used at different times. A richer formula is great for your nighttime ritual, while lightweight moisturisers tend to work well for day and in hotter climates. The final step of all good skin care rituals is a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Sun has damaging effects on the skin so it’s essential to use it every day, even in winter or when it’s overcast. At Jurlique, we’re yet to find a sunscreen formula that we’re happy with so while we wait, choose your favourite to end your skin care ritual with.

5 WAYS TO SWITCH YOUR SERUM INTO POWER MODE

5 WAYS TO SWITCH YOUR SERUM INTO POWER MODE

When it comes to high-performing skincare, a serum is your MVP. A concentrated blend of active ingredients designed to create change on your skin, adding a serum into your skincare routine is a really effective way to reach a multitude of skin goals. Here are five ways to get the most out of your serum: 1. BUT FIRST, CLEANSEWe shouldn’t have to say it but we will: don’t even think about applying your serum to your skin unless it’s freshly cleansed. Give the concentrated actives in your serum the best possible chance to deep dive into the layers of the skin, without first having to wade through any debris (in this case: sweat, sunscreen, makeup). 2. WAY TO GLOWFor a guaranteed glow, first apply a hydrating mask for 10-15 minutes. Wipe or tissue off then apply a few drops of your favourite serum for renewed radiance. 3. ACTIVATE YOUR BEST SKINA skincare boost from the South Australian Hills: Activating Water Essence preps skin to absorb and enhance the full benefit of serums and moisturisers. It's made from softening marshmallow root extract from our Jurlique Farm in South Australia. 4. BAN THE BRUSHAvoid the trend of applying serums with a makeup or facial brush; you’ll lose precious product soaked up into the brush hairs. Instead, use your fingertips to lightly massage your serum directly into the skin. Apply any excess to your neck and backs of your hands. 5. THE PERFECT FINISHTo really amplify the effects of your serum, apply to the skin and leave for a few minutes (while you brush your teeth or get dressed for the day). Then add a moisturiser over the top to seal in the serum and protect and hydrate the skin. Try the power couple that is Moisture Plus Rare Rose Serum and Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotionn. Together, they’ve been clinically proven to visibly plump and smooth skin and renew radiance in just 7 days*. OUR FAVOURITE MORNING RITUALS FOR FRESH LOOKING SKIN - ALL DAY, EVERYDAY

OUR FAVOURITE MORNING RITUALS FOR FRESH LOOKING SKIN - ALL DAY, EVERYDAY

Confession time: no, we did not wake up like this. Great skin takes preparation and good behaviour. Here, we share a few of our favourite morning rituals that help us hit our hydration and glow goals. 1. START WITH SLEEPTo have a great skin day, you really need to have had 8 hours of restful sleep the night before. Plan ahead by avoiding sleep-disturbing stimulants like caffeine, sugar, and alcohol in the evening, log off all devices at least an hour before bed, and hit your silk pillow before 10pm. Wake to skin glowing with gratitude. 2. BEAUTY BEGINS FROM WITHINStarting your day with a genuinely positive mindset will help you radiate fresh-faced optimism. A couple of ways to get you into a healthy head space: set a positive intention for the day by repeating a mantra or affirmations that resonate, practise some yoga poses, or meditate. As British author Roald Dahl said: “If you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” 3. WORK UP A SWEATAs the body’s largest organ, the skin loves and appreciates a workout. Raising your heart rate (and a decent sweat) boosts your skin’s circulation and natural radiance. Find a form of exercise you love and can commit to, even if all you have time for is a 10-minute power walk around the block. Just do it. 4. SELF CARETaking good, consistent care of your skin is the best form of self-care. Start your day by cleansing your skin, then apply a hydrating serum, followed by a nurturing moisturiser to hydrate and protect you from the skin stresses of the day ahead. We love the 24-hour hydration of the Moisture Plus Rare Rose range. 5. HYDRATE INSIDE & OUTJust as you can literally see dehydration in the skin (hey there fine lines), drinking 8 glasses of water a day really helps skin look fresh, smooth, and radiant. Start strong by drinking two glasses upon waking and continue through the day. Overachievers eat water-dense fruits and vegetables such as berries, watermelon, cucumbers, and celery for extra credit. P.S. Don’t forget how drying your environment can be. Keep a hydrating facial mist close by for an instant skin refresh to combat the drying effects of sun exposure, air-conditioning and central heating. We don’t make a move without Rosewater Balancing Mist. 6. FAKE ITFor whatever reason, and there’s always a reason, you haven’t been able to commit to any of the above. Freshen up fatigued skin by adding a few drops of a tinted bronzer or illuminator into your moisturiser or foundation. And promise to do better tomorrow.

Why You Should Be Using Face Oils in Your Skincare Routine

Why You Should Be Using Face Oils in Your Skincare Routine

Face oils have been part of skincare rituals for centuries, and the ones we swear by at Jurlique HQ are no exception. A few drops of a high-performing oil can hydrate, smooth, and soften skin, help it feel more resilient, and leave you with a natural, lit-from-within glow. But they're also one of the most misunderstood products in skincare, often assumed to be heavy, pore-clogging, or only suited to dry skin. So what do face oils actually do, and are they good for the skin? Here's what to look for, who they're for, and how to bring one into your ritual for the most radiant results. What Are Face Oils? Face oils are concentrated skincare formulas built from botanical extracts, vitamins, and minerals. They come in two main forms: single oils that focus on one concern, and blends that combine several farm-grown ingredients to treat multiple concerns at once. All face oils rely on a carrier oil as their base. Safflower Oil, for example, is the carrier used across Jurlique's face oil range, gently carrying the active ingredients onto the skin and helping them absorb rather than evaporate away. What Are Face Oils Used For? Face oils are traditionally the final step in a skincare ritual. Rather than replacing your moisturiser, a well-formulated oil works alongside it, sealing in the hydration and active ingredients from the products applied beforehand while adding its own nourishing benefits on top. It's the step that helps a ritual hold together: everything from your essence to your serum tends to perform better, and last longer, once an oil has sealed it all in.  Are Face Oils Good for the Skin? Busting the Biggest Myth The most common misconception about face oils is that they're only for dry skin, and that oily or acne-prone skin should steer clear altogether. In reality, skin produces its own natural oil (sebum), and when that balance is disrupted, whether by over-cleansing, harsh actives, or environmental stress, the skin barrier can become compromised, sometimes leading to more oil, not less. A lightweight, non-comedogenic face oil can actually help restore that balance rather than disrupt it, making oils a genuine option for oily and combination skin too, not just dry or mature complexions. Do Face Oils Work? Face Oil Benefits  1. Lasting Hydration. Oils help slow trans-epidermal water loss (the gradual process by which moisture escapes through the skin's surface), keeping skin plump and comfortable for longer. 2. Nourishment From Botanical Extracts. Many face oils are rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and plant actives that support the skin's moisture barrier over time. Chia Seed, for example, has been shown in one clinical study to help reinforce the moisture barrier after 28 days of daily use¹. 3. Support for Tired, Ageing Skin. Blends built around adaptogenic herbs and antioxidant-rich botanicals are often used to help skin look fresher, brighter, and more even in tone, especially for complexions that feel dull or fatigued. 4. Visible Firming for Mature Skin. Ingredients like Rock Samphire extract, nicknamed the "Retinol of the sea," are prized for their ability to help firm skin and soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles, making them a popular addition to facial oils formulated for mature skin. 5. Balance for Oily and Combination Skin. Lightweight, fast-absorbing oils can help regulate the skin's own oil production, offering hydration without the heavy or greasy feeling often associated with richer formulas. 6. A Healthy, Natural Radiance. Because oils reflect light differently to water-based products, they leave skin looking dewy and luminous, often the finishing touch that makes a ritual feel complete. How to Choose a Face Oil for Your Skin Not all oils are created equal. Look for natural, high-quality plant-based oils that nourish the skin without clogging pores, and steer clear of synthetic or mineral oils, which tend to be comedogenic (a common cause of blackheads and congestion). Sensitive skin: Calendula Face Oil, for its soothing, farm-grown Calendula and Manuka Leaf blend Dull, tired, or early signs of ageing: Herbal Recovery Face Oil, clinically proven to unify the complexion and improve brightness², while also revealing a fresher, clearer complexion³. In consumer trials, 91% described the texture as lightweight and fast-absorbing⁴ Mature skin: Purely Age-Defying Firming Face Oil, clinically proven to improve skin moisture by 34%⁵, smoothness by 26%⁶, and firmness by 18%⁷ over 28 days, while helping to reduce the visible appearance of wrinkles⁸. It's also been tested on skin prone to burning, stinging, redness, and dryness, making it a considered option for more reactive skin too⁹ Dehydrated skin can often present as oily or breakout-prone, as skin overcompensates for lost moisture. Lightweight, fast-absorbing oils deliver hydration without the heavy or greasy feeling often associated with richer formulas. How to Layer a Face Oil Into Your Ritual 1. Prep the skin. Cleanse with a gentle formula from our cleansers collection to remove impurities without stripping moisture. 2. Hydrate first. Follow with the Activating Water Essence+, which softens the skin and delivers continuous hydration, helping the active ingredients that follow absorb more effectively. 3. Treat. Apply your serum or targeted treatment. 4. Moisturise, if needed. Depending on your skin type and the season, layer a moisturiser over or under your oil. 5. Seal with oil. Warm two to three drops of your face oil between your palms and press gently into the skin. This helps it absorb evenly and brings out its natural glow. Face oils can be used morning and night. If you're applying in the morning, give the oil a moment to settle before makeup or SPF. Explore Jurlique's face oil range to find the formula that suits your skin, browse our full face care collection, or get in touch for personalised advice. FAQs When should you use face oils? As the final step in your ritual, after cleansing, essence, and serum, to lock in hydration and everything applied beforehand.  Is it okay to use face oil every day? Yes. Used daily, a lightweight facial oil helps maintain balance and hydration, and most formulas absorb quickly with no greasy residue.  Are face oils actually good for your skin? Yes. A well-formulated oil can nourish, hydrate, and support the skin barrier across most skin types, including oily and combination skin, when the right formula is chosen.  What oils should you avoid on your face? Heavier, synthetic, or mineral oils can be comedogenic and lead to congestion or shine. Opt for lightweight, naturally derived, non-comedogenic formulas instead.  Should I apply face oil in the morning or at night? Either works. Many prefer evenings to avoid interference with makeup or SPF, though morning application is fine if you allow the oil to settle first.   ¹ Clinical study of 15 subjects using an emulsion with Chia Seed oil daily for 28 days. ² Based on a clinical evaluation of the complexion of 30 subjects using the product twice daily for 56 days. ³ Based on a clinical evaluation of the complexion of 33 subjects using the product twice daily for 28 days. ⁴ Based on a self-assessment questionnaire of 55 subjects, 30 minutes after a single application. ⁵ Based on corneometry measurements on 30 subjects using Purely Age-Defying Face Oil for 28 days. ⁶ Based on the smoothness parameter using image analysis on 30 subjects using Purely Age-Defying Face Oil for 28 days. ⁷ Based on cutometry measurements on 30 subjects using Purely Age-Defying Face Oil for 28 days. ⁸ Based on the volume of nasolabial folds on 30 subjects using Purely Age-Defying Face Oil for 28 days. ⁹ Based on a study on 30 subjects with skin prone to burning, stinging, redness, and dryness using Purely Age-Defying Face Oil for 28 days.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ANTI-AGEING SKIN CARE

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ANTI-AGEING SKIN CARE

It’s never too early to start taking care of your skin. Whether you’re in the prevention-is-better-than-cure stage or your skin is ready for a helping hand, it’s worth adding anti-ageing products to your ritual. Think of them as skin care saviours, made to soften and smooth your skin, leaving it more supple. Our experts explain the process and give us their anti-ageing beauty secrets – from the best anti-ageing products to use, to daily anti-ageing lifestyle tips. HOW DOES SKIN AGE?It’s no secret that the appearance and texture of skin changes over time. It’s a natural process that begins in your mid-20s, when our collagen and elastin production declines, but environmental aggressors such as stress, pollution, dehydration, poor diet and lack of sleep can accelerate it. And, of course, there’s sun exposure, which is one of (if not the) greatest cause of premature ageing. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING ANTI-AGEING SKIN CARE?While we’re all for embracing natural beauty at any age, anti-ageing skin care products can help combat the signs of ageing and keep your skin feeling soft and supple and looking heathy. These specially-formulated products work to stimulate collagen production (skin’s natural filler) and restore elastin, which gives skin its flexibility. Anti-ageing products also deliver antioxidants, such as vitamins A and C, to the skin, which help to protect it from environmental stressors. They also contain Glycolic acid – a natural acid which helps to resurface and regenerate skin, improving its tone and texture. CHOOSING AN ANTI-AGEING SKIN CARE RITUAL THAT’S RIGHT FOR YOUUse targeted, active products that address the signs of ageing, like lines, wrinkles, dehydration and a loss of firmness and definition. When it comes to an anti-ageing routine, serum and eye creams are vital additions. But we need different anti-ageing products at different stages of our lives – someone in their late 20s witnessing their first signs of ageing will need products that have different formulas and benefits to someone in their late 50s who has advanced signs of ageing, so choose your ritual carefully.FIRST SIGNS OF AGEINGThe first signs of ageing are typically dullness, dryness, fatigue and fine lines, which start to appear in your late 20s and 30s. We recommend using our Herbal Recovery skin care range at this stage, which is packed with Viola Tricolor, Yarrow and Cedar Bud extracts to help hydrate skin and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.VISIBLE AND ADVANCED SIGNS OF AGEINGIt’s in our 40s that we tend to see fine lines, loss of elasticity, irregular texture and uneven skin tone, and our 50s when deep-set wrinkles, age spots and discolouration start to appear. At this stage, we recommend using our Nutri-Define range. Containing active ingredients such as Horseradish Root and Peppermint Leaf extracts, Nutri-Define effectively targets advanced signs of ageing such as sagging skin, deep lines and wrinkles. No matter what your anti-ageing skin care ritual, always remember to apply your skin care to your neck and décolletage and exfoliate a couple of times a week to refine and repair skin. DON’T FORGET YOUR HANDSLike the skin on our face, our hands are one of the first places to show signs of ageing and need extra care than the skin on our body. Air conditioning, extreme weather conditions, pollutants and sun exposure can affect the look and feel of skin on the hands, so apply a rich and nourishing hand creams regularly throughout the day. BE DILIGENT WITH SPFSun has damaging effects on the skin so it’s essential to use an SPF every day, even in winter or when it’s overcast. At Jurlique, we’re yet to find a sunscreen formula that we’re happy with so while we wait, choose your favourite to end your skin care ritual with. Wear sunglasses and a hat to avoid squinting, which can cause crow’s feet and lines to form.Of course, anti-ageing isn’t just about skin care but your lifestyle, too. Cutting down on sugar, getting eight hours’ of sleep a night, eating anti-ageing foods (those rich in omega-3s) and drinking at least 2L of water a day all help to keep the ageing process at bay.Shop our Herbal Recovery range and Nutri-Define range for our natural-based anti-ageing skin care products.
